December 5, 2020, or should I say, the 5th of December in 2020.

The latter makes more sense logically.

Today I woke up at 8 am, closed the alarm, and woke up again at 9:30.

Took 30 minutes to get ready before getting picked up and going to boxing.

Got there at around 10:30 and boxed until 12:30.

So around 2 hours of physical activity. Pretty good if you ask me.

Then later in the day, I decided to go check out the community fridge in YYC.

Pretty cool right?

Except I never got there. Instead, I got distracted by a shop with the name

Edelweiss Village

Now if the shop name doesn’t pique your interest, the building certainly would.

It’s like one of those European village stores that you see in movies and books (That is if you don’t live in Europe).

Anyway, it piqued my interest and I spent a good 45 minutes in there peeking around, curious about my discovery.

Eventually, I decided to buy a meal from there.
The Ukrainian Classic.

Sausage with a side of sauerkraut, red cabbage, perogies, and sauce.

It was pretty good. At least to the standards of tourist.

The sausage, sauerkraut, and mustard were salty balanced with the slight sweetness of the red cabbage and softening flavor of the perogies.

It was great. But the price tag was questionable.

16$ for one sausage and some sides?

Hmm, could be better.

Whatever, no regrets. Pretty good day.

Came back home, listening to some Pink Floyd by a co-worker’s recommendation, and just relaxed.

Unfortunately, I have work tomorrow and I should be in bed already.

But also, fortunately, I have work because otherwise, I’d be having an existential crisis every day of the week.

It’s a paradox.

Funny how we, humans, can never be satisfied.

Well before I start overthinking my life.

It’s bedtime.

See you next time.
